The Pander Brothers update our classic Portland coffee Shop
In 2017, we had the pleasure of collaborating with one of our customers, Arnold Pander of The Pander Brothers, in the remodel of our Coffee Time interiors. We were struggling with water damage that ruined some of our historic mural walls. Out of that crisis came opportunity: to create a whole new interior design, paying loving homage to Coffee Time’s past. The results are stunning.
The little details tell our history:
A perfect place for a small discussion for 2-3 people. The Panders chose this distinctive seat for its fun and whimsy.
The circle room divider window was a feature of Coffee Time's original design we're so glad we were able to keep.
Local woodworker Bill Yost inlaid numbers in the back-room tables, which were all made from reclaimed wood.
The artists used stamped metal tiles for a touch of old-time flair fitting our historic neighborhood. They're paired with live-edged, reclaimed shelves.
The original artwork for our front tables couldn't be restored, so the Panders created reimagined designs for each of them.
The front-room tables are made from inlaid reclaimed wood. They pair nicely with Coffee Time's original bench seats.
